The ICC International Court of Arbitration is organizing a 2-day training and a conference on arbitration to be held on 18-20 August in Yangon, Myanmar. This event is kindly sponsored by International Arbitration Club Myanmar, Livingstons Legal, UMFCCI, UNCITAL and Zagar Communications.
This two day training is organised for the young arbitration lawyers in Myanmar. On the first day, leading arbitration practitioners will give a lecture on basic topics of international arbitration. The topics are designed to cover all aspects of international arbitration in the context of the new arbitration act of Myanmar. On the second day, the training will cover practical aspects of international arbitration based on a mock case and ICC Rules of Arbitration.
On the third day, a panel discussion will take place followed by a Q&A session with a view to foster the practice of arbitration in the country and engage the arbitration community in an enlightening discussion.
