Maha Al-Saadi is an experienced professional in the regulated financial services industry, having held leadership roles at various organizations such as the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority, Deutsche Börse, Trade Republic Bank GmbH, and Bankhaus Scheich. Currently, she serves as the Head of Regulatory Affairs at the Qatar Financial Centre Authority, where she drives strategic regulatory initiatives across a range of financial services, including banking, fund management, FinTech, and ESG.

Maha has been instrumental in shaping financial regulatory frameworks that promote market integrity, innovation, and consumer protection. She has advanced key initiatives related to market integrity, corporate governance, blockchain, digital assets, and AI. At the QFC, she mediated the authorization of multiple financial firms and FinTechs, further strengthening Qatar's position as a financial hub.

Maha has also contributed significantly to the integration of emerging technologies within the financial sector. She has played pivotal roles in the adoption of the European Digital Package including MiCAR, and the German Electronic Securities Act, as well as in crafting strategies for blockchain, DLT, digital assets, and decentralized finance.
